We just spent the day hanging out at the beach and watching seagulls fight for food near the ocean. Later on we got some tacos at a little local bar. We drove down a totally creepy succession of roads to get there and were pretty sure we were going to be part of a horror movie on the way out there.</p> <p>When we got to the park, there were already a number of people camped out with the same idea as us (thinking we were coming to kill them as well) We assured them we were totally sane, and all ended up hanging out to try to view chunks of space rock collide into our atmosphere. It was far too cloudy out to see anything, but we did have a blast and the other party of people had some sparklers so I did a few extended exposure shots and this was one of them!<br/><br/> Maybe I will catch some meteors on my next try!
